Title: My Online Shopping Experience
In today's digital era, e-commerce has changed the way we buy and sell goods. As someone who loves shopping online and sometimes even sells items, I've explored many e-commerce websites and had both good and bad experiences. In this blog post, I'll share my journey with online shopping and selling, highlighting the best and worst moments along the way.
Positive Experiences:
- Easy to Find Products: One thing I really like about shopping online is how easy it is to find what I'm looking for. E-commerce websites have search bars and categories that make it simple to browse through different products. I can even filter the same type of products based on price, shipped from location, delivery fee, and even discount. Here are the screenshots of my earbuds purchased from Lazada last year. Here in the filtered list, u can see that I filter with price and delivery service, and in the second photo, I even list prices from low to high.- Lots of Choices and Purchases with ease: Another great thing about online shopping is the variety of products available. Whether I need clothes, electronics, household items, or everything I can always find what I need online. I think it was last year. I wanted to buy a swimming trunk and had no time to go outside because it was school time. So, I tried to search on Lazada and found it and ordered. It took like one day and I got it before the day I need. Here, u can see that I can purchase with ease from online.
- Convenient Payment Options: Paying for my purchases online is super easy. Most E-commerce websites accept credit cards, debit cards, prompt pay, QR pay and even I can pay with cash on delivery. This makes checkout quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciate.
Negative Experiences:
- Sometimes Products Look Different: One downside of online shopping is that sometimes the products don't look the same in person as they did on the website. For example, I once bought a shirt that looked really nice in the picture, but when I got it, the color was different. It's disappointing when this happens because then I have to go through the hassle of returning the item. From then on, I rarely buy clothing Online Unluckily, I can't find the history of chat and purchase returns, thus cannot provide any screenshots here .:')- Shipping Can Take a Long Time: Another issue I've had with online shopping is that shipping can be slow, especially if I'm ordering from a seller in another country. Waiting for my package to arrive can be frustrating, especially if I need the item right away. It's something I've learned to be patient with, but it's still annoying sometimes.
- Customer Service Isn't Always Great: Last semester, I had some bad experiences with customer service when shopping online. I had to buy an E3 book online because the bookstore in AU is out of stock. What happened was they provided the wrong address for the delivery and I got the message that it was already delivered but the product was not yet in my place. So, I contacted the retailer and they kept asking me to contact the delivery. Thus, I contacted the delivery and they said that they already delivered to the location which was not mine. When I told them that it wasn't mine, they said that the address was provided by the retailer and asked me to contact the retailer again. I was so annoyed that I had to contact you multiple times and luckily, I got a refund.
Conclusion: Overall, my experience with online shopping has been mostly positive, but there have definitely been some bumps along the way. Despite the occasional drawbacks, I still enjoy the convenience and variety that e-commerce offers. As technology continues to improve, I'm excited to see how online shopping will evolve in the future.
